Gooseberry thokku recipe
Gooseberries - 1/2 kg
Mustard - 1tsp
Fenugreek seeds - 1tsp
Asefoetida - 1/2 tsp
Salt - 3tsp
Red chilli powder - 3 tsp
oil
Boil gooseberries in a pressure cooker and remove the
seeds.
Heat of oil in a frying pan, add mustard, fenugreek seeds and asfoetida.
Add
a cup of water and the boiled gooseberries.
Add salt, red chillie powder
and cook in low heat with constant stirring until it becomes a thick paste.
