Rajasthani Panchmel Dal Fry Tadka – Nothing beats the simplicity & appeal of Dal tadka or Lentils, Which is an essential part of India. It is well served with rice or roti. The taste of mixed dal tadka is awesome, rich and flavorful. In rajasthan it is called Panchmel Dal, which is a mixture of five kinds of dal. I have prepared this special dal in Rajsthani style. Besides, I have given some innovations in this recipe too.

  • 25 grams Split Green Gram (Moong Dal),
  • 25 grams Split Red Gram (Tur Dal),
  • 2 tablespoon Ginger Paste,
  • Some Desiccated Coconut,
  • 2 Dry Red Chillies,
  • Some Whole Garam Masala,
  • 1/2 teaspoon Shah Jeera,
  • 1/2 teaspoon Fennel Seeds,
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar,
  • 2 tablespoon Ghee,
  • 2-3 tablespoon Mustard Oil,
  • 2 medium Chopped Tomatoes,
  • Some Curry Leaves,
  • Some Fresh Coriander Leaves,
  • 2 Bay leaves,
  • 1 Green Chilli,
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder,
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin Powder,
  • 1 teaspoon Garam Masala Powder,
  • 1 teaspoon Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder,
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander Powder,
