Banana Modak recipe step by step pictures

Banana Modak also known as Mulik or deep fried sweet dumpling is very popular, delicious and mouth watering Konkani recipe prepared on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. Modak and Appe is believed to be lord Ganesha’s most favorite food and twenty one modak and appe are offered as Naivedyam. I wish you all a very happy Gowri Ganesha Festival.

This sweet is prepared using jaggery, grated coconut, riped banana and mixed with wheat flour. You can deep fry this in oil or ghee. Traditionally this is fried in ghee. This is so tasty that you cannot stop eating one.
