Hot Black beans With Rice recipe
Rice ½ cup
Black beans 1 cup (cooked)
Vegetables 1 cup (carrots, mushrooms, beans etc.
)
Onion ½ cup chopped
Garlic 3 cloves minced
Green chilly 2 chopped
Red chilly powder ¼ tspn
Salsa 1 cup
Cumin seeds (crushed) - 1 tspn
Salt and pepper as per taste
Vegetable broth - 3-4cups depending on the consistency
required
Cooking oil - 1 tbsn
Cook rice the way you usually do.
Heat oil in a pan and add onion and garlic and fry till
onion light brown.
Add all other ingredients and bring to boil.
Reduce heat
and cook for 5 minutes.
Puree 1 cup and return to pan.
Cook on medium heat for
2-3 more minutes.
Serve hot.
