Sesame Rice recipe

rice - 1 cup.
white sesame seeds - 6tsp
red chillie - 1
sesame oil - 4 tsp
urud dal - 1/2 tsp
salt - to taste
curry leaves - a twig
Boil rice with 2 cups water.

Spread the cooked rice on a large plate.

Sprinkle 3 tsp of oil on the rice and allow to cool.

Roast sesame seeds in a dry pan.

Let it burst but not become red.

In the same pan, dry roast the red chilli and salt.

Grind sesame seeds, red chilli and salt and add to the rice.

Roast urud dal and curry leaves in 1 tsp of oil and add to the rice.

Mix gently.
