Mawa Modak Dried Milk Dumplings recipe step by step pictures

Hello Everyone! Wishing you all a belated Happy Ganesh Chaturthi!.

A modak is a sweet dumpling popular in Maharashtra, India. It is called modak in Marathi and Konkani as well as Gujarati language, Kozhukkatta in Malayalam, modaka or kadubu in Kannada, modhakam or kozhukattai in Tamil, and kudumu in Telugu.

I made Mawa Modaks for the first time this Ganesh Chaturthi. Great news is that it requires only three ingredients and you are all set. It’s offered to Lord Ganesha during the Ganesha festival and is said to be His favourite sweet. You would find Modak shops near most of the Ganesha temples, especially in Maharashtra, India.
