Tamarind Aval Upma recipe

Aval - 1 cup
Tamarind - lemon size
Redchillies- 6
Mustard Seeds- 1/2tsp
Urad dal- 1/2tsp
Salt to taste
Asefoetida - 1/4 tsp
Curry leaves - 1 sprig
Oil
Add two cups of water to tamarind and take extract.
Add
salt to it and keep aside.
In a frying pan heat 5 tsp of oil and add red chillies,musturd
seeds,urad dal, asafoetida and when it pops add the tamarind extract,
and heat it.
When it comes to boil add aval, stir it and cook for 3 mins |
