Bhel Puri (Method 1) recipe

Puffed Rice - 1 carton
Sev - 1 pkt
Mashed boiled potatoes - 2 cups
Chopped fresh coriander leaves - 1/2 cup Ground cumin - 3 tbsp
Green chilies
Black pepper powder - 2 Tbsp
Tamarind to taste
Jaggery to taste
Chopped onions - 1 cup
First boil the potatoes, mash them, salt them, and add pepper to taste.

Add some coriander leaves too.

Dissolve about 4 Tbsp of tamarind concentrate in 1 cup of hot water, andlet it simmer and thicken gradually.

Dissolve the jaggery until the sauce becomes tart and slightly sweet.

(You may add some salt.

Mix the puffed rice and sev/bhel mix in alarge bowl.

On a plate, serve the rice-bhel mixture, add the potatoes, then the onions, chillies, and then dust the cumin powder over it.

Next pour on the sauce and top with the coriander garnish.

(Add salt/pepper totaste).

Mix the ingredients on the plate and serve.
