Ingredients
½cupdry coconut
¼cupmaida
1.5tspred chilli powder
½tspfennel seeds
½tsppoppy seeds
½tspsesame seeds
½tspcoriander powder
¼tspcumin powder
¼tspgaram masala
1tbspsugar
½tspdry mango powder
1tbsphot oil
½tspturmeric powder
¼cupbesan
Salt for taste
Oil for deep fry
1pinchhing
water as required to knead
Instructions
In a jar take dry coconut, sesame seeds, sugar, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, fennel seeds, poppy seeds, dry mango powder, ¼ tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp red chilli powder, salt.
Blend into smooth powder.
In bowl add besan, maida, ½ tsp red chilli powder, ¼ tsp turmeric powder, salt to taste, hing mix well. Add 1 tbsp hot oil and mix well.
Add water in batches knead to smooth dough, cover with wet cloth and rest for 20 minutes.
Make the ball of dough, dust the rolling surface roll the dough, it not be so thin.
Spread 1 tsp oil on the rolled dough.
Spread blended masala on that.
Roll tightly and fold the edges.
Cut 2 cm long with a knife.
Heat oil in a pan, fry all the pieces on medium flame, fry both sides till they turn golden brown.
Take out in a kitchen paper serve with tea.
Notes
Pouring hot oil over the flour helps to make bhakrwadi crispy & brittle Bhakrwadi will taste bitter if over fry.
