Momo is a type of South Asian dumpling; native to Tibet, Sikkim (India), Bhutan and Nepal. Momos are generally made with minced meat but as the dish moved to different places, people started making fillings to their liking such as chicken, prawn, vegetables, paneer, tofu etc.
